Today there are more children that fall into the category of At-Risk Youth. There are many reasons today’s youth face more challenges like, single parent households, poverty, gang activity, crime, child pregnancy, sub-par education, peer pressure, juvenile delinquency and many other factors. It is important to have programs that help children transition into productive and successful adults. To avoid the risk of dropping out of school, incarceration, drug addiction, and even death, we have to offer alternatives.
Our mission is to empower our At-Risk youth by creating opportunities for them in the community. We want to see these children off the street and rid them from gang violence by helping them get involved in sports and other programs that are life saving.
I enjoy working with the founders of this organization. I admire SAK-Life organization because they have been in the trenches and understand what it means to struggle. I believe this is the reason they are able to connect with the youth!Eric Elliott, Owner of MemoryMakerBooths, Houston
